Global Payroll 25D Patch OBBBA TTOC on Job

Hello All-

As part of 25D Q4 payroll patch, Oracle is providing a new field on Jobs for Treasury Tipped Occupation Code. This information will be used in a new box 14b in W2 in 2026.

I have few questions regarding this functionality.

  1. Do we need to have this setup completed along with all tips qualified job codes updates before 1/1/2026? In other words, is this information used for payroll balances to track tips or this information will be used in 2026 W2 box 14b while processing year-end?
  2. In my organization the worker has only one primary assignment with single job code. However, the timecards hold multiple jobs they may work throughout a day or week which all are qualified for tips. Will the new functionality pickup these multiple TTOC codes from multiple job codes that an employee uses to report time? Or this is only picked up from the job linked to the primary assignment during year processing of W2?
