Can we Restrict the ability to update the dates on an Invoice in payables?

Can we Restrict the ability to update the dates on an Invoice in payables?
The Dates are populated by the Logic below , but one of the Invoices in our system has had the dates
changed, is it possible to restrict the ability to change the dates?
I could not see anything in any of the support documents?

"The invoice header accounting date defaults to the lines accounting date when new lines are created."
"The invoice lines accounting date defaults to new distributions created for that line."
