Looking for guidance on custom email solution for Oracle Fusion - Receivables Print Transactions

Summary:

We are currently using the standard Oracle bursting process (Job: Receivables Print Transactions) in Oracle Fusion Cloud Receivables to generate and email customer bills as PDF attachments. The process generally works fine but we have been facing a few recurring issues:

  • Intermittent failures in the built-in email delivery service, leading to missed or duplicate email deliveries.
  • Oracle's current limitation preventing us from sending multiple attachments (e.g., bills + statements) in the same email.

Because of these challenges, we are exploring the idea of building a custom email delivery solution. Our current thought is to let Oracle Fusion handle the PDF generation and bursting, but instead of emailing directly from Oracle, we would
