Populate DFF value based on Ledger selected at Journal header

Is there a way on how we can populate DFF based on the Ledger selected at the header level?

We have a requirement to populate DFF values based on the ledger selected at the Journal header level, I know it can be achieved through context sensitive DFF's. But we dont have to create the dependent values DFF.. It must be driven by the Ledger selected at the header level.

Can anyone help on how it can be achieved.
