Read only access for existing absence records and absence plans - Redwood

Summary:

In Responsive UI we were able to deploy a custom role that allowed read only access for existing absence records and employee absence plan balances. However this does not work in Redwood (25D). This custom role was referred for a variety of user types even for users that had edit access for HR records but read only access for absence in Responsive UI.
25D release notes recommendation does not work as expected for our POD it does not provide complete read only access via role privileges/Visual Builder personalization options.

We are happy to connect with Oracle team to discuss this scenario & related test results until this issue is resolved we are unable to Adopt Redwood for Absence Administrators as we need Redwood Absence and Entitlement page to work for users with edit and read only access as it does currently in Responsive UI.
