Self-assessed tax is still getting amortized in an MPA invoice
Summary:
We are using Multiperiod Accounting (MPA) for AP invoices in Oracle Fusion Payables.
Observed behavior:
- When an invoice with MPA start and end dates is initially accounted:
- Invoice line expense is prorated correctly
- Self-assessed non-recoverable tax expense is also initially prorated in line with the MPA schedule
- When we subsequently update the MPA end date on the invoice and reaccount:
- Invoice line expense distributions are recalculated correctly
- Normal non-recoverable tax (invoice line tax) is recalculated correctly
- Self-assessed non-recoverable tax distributions are NOT recalculated and remain based on the original MPA dates
