Off Cycle Payment - Paying an employee in 2025 for a 2026 Pay Period

Summary:

We have a scenario where a terminated employee is paid in the same week that he worked - Unfortunately at year end, the Year to Date accumulators think that the pay period is 2026 and not 2025. In Payroll Definitions we can't add or change the Periods to reflect the 2025 payment. How do we remedy this. We need to show the amounts as YTD 2025

Example is that the employee Pay period is 12/21/2025 thru 12/27/2025 with pay date 1/2/2026. According to our Payroll definitions, this is the 1st pay period of 2026. Due to a termination on 12/22/2025, the employee was paid the next day on 12/23/2025 but the payslip shows year to date as period 1 2026 because the Payroll Definition reflects the pay PERIOD as 2026.
