rate update under default input value is not reflecting

Summary:

Hi Team ,

Our requirement is to update default rate of an element from 1/1/2026 to 0.725 .

I did the update under element input value (Rate) from 1/1/2026 .However it is not reflecting under element entry of the employee.

Note: I tried creating fresh entry ,still showing old rate there 0.7.

Any idea how to update so that It will reflect under element entry? Am is missing anythng here?
