Inquiry Regarding Eloqua – Salesforce Integration App Behavior
Hello,
I would like to clarify whether the Salesforce Integration App Import in Oracle Eloqua performs updates only, or if it can also create new records under the following configuration.
Scenario:
- Account Import
- Source: Salesforce Account
- Target: Eloqua Account
- Unique identifier: Account DUID
- Lead Import
- Source: Salesforce Lead
- Target: Eloqua Contact
- Unique identifier: Salesforce Contact ID
Under the above setup, could you please confirm whether:
- The Import only updates existing Eloqua records when a match is found, or
- New Account and/or Contact records are created in Eloqua when no matching record exists?
Any clarification on the intended behavior would be greatly appreciated.
