Hi,

we are trying to implement Retroactive Overpayment and Recovery feature for US legislation, below were the steps we did.

  1. Navigate to Payroll Process Configuration
    Search for Overpayment Recovery Process Enabling the Over payment for Recovery Process. Set this to Y
  2. Created a non recurring standard earning element with Hours*rate option with retro enabled and Recovery enabled. This created below elements.

Elements:

  • Element_Name _Evaluation
  • Element_Name _Offset
  • Element_Name _Recovery
  • Element_Name _Recovery Results

Formulas:

  • Element_Name Evaluation
  • Element_Name Offset
  • Element_Name Recovery
  • Element_Name Recovery Results

3. Attached this element to an employee with 100 Hours , having hourly rate of 30$ an hour so earning got calculated as 3000$ for check date of 10th Jan 2026
