In Oracle Fusion, what are the affected setups when the business unit name is changed?
We have implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for one of our clients. The scope includes multiple legal entities with 1 Business Unit per Legal Entity.
The client is planning to rename their business unit. However, they have already used the business unit in their transactions/operations.
Example:
Old BU Name New BU Name
GMMA_METRO_EAST_1_BU GMMA_3_METRO_EAST_1_BU
GMMA_METRO_EAST_2_BU GMMA_3_METRO_EAST_2_BU
We would like to ask for confirmation if the following items will be impacted in the BU name change:
- Approval Workflows - all modules
- Standard and Custom Reports where BU name was selected as filters
