GOP is not honoring the Allocation percent in the Sourcing Rule for Buy/ Transfer From

edited Jan 7, 2026 1:20PM in Order Management 2 comments

Summary: We have defined the ATP Rule based on the Supply Chain Availability Search, Profitable to Promise- Y.

We have defined Global Sourcing Rule with two sources as below:

  • Buy from Supplier A- Allocation Percent- 50%- Rank 1
  • Buy from Supplier B- Allocation Percent- 50%- Rank 1

And the Sourcing Assignment is done against the item level, and when the Order is submitted for 100 Quantity, it always creates a Drop Ship order with the supplier A for 100 Quantity and ignores the Supplier B. Is this a right behavior?

There is no pre-processing/ Processing/ post-Processing Lead Time defined at the item level (Purchasing lead time), but Enforce Purchasing lead Time- Yes

Howdy, Stranger!
