Balancing Segment Change Requirement for a Specific Ledger

Our organization has multiple ledgers, all of which use the same Chart of Accounts (CoA) with the following segments:

• Company
• Location
• BU / Department
• Account
• Product
• Channel
• Intercompany code
• Future

Currently, the Company segment is configured as the primary balancing segment, and this configuration is used across all ledgers. As a result, trial balances and financial reports are generated based on the Company segment.

A new requirement has arisen for one specific ledger, where the business needs to generate the Trial Balance based on the Location segment. However, since the Company segment is defined as the primary balancing segment, this requirement cannot be fulfilled under the current setup.
