Direct Deposit Not Showing in Default Payment Method During Payroll Definition

in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI)

Summary:

While creating a payroll definition in Oracle HCM Cloud, I configured two Organization Payment Methods:

  • Check
  • Direct Deposit

However, when I try to select a value in the “Default Payment Method” field, only Check is available. The Direct Deposit payment method does not appear as an option.

Is there any specific configuration, prerequisite, or validation that controls which Organization Payment Methods are displayed in the Default Payment Method field?
Any insights into why Direct Deposit might not be showing would be appreciated.
