Redwood Purchase Orders (New) Custom Columns not saving after logging out

When in Redwood Purchase Orders (New) a user can click the Customize Columns symbol and add their required Columns for extra data they require in the searches they run. These columns can disappear after a web browsers security and privacy cache is cleared (we are doing this as routine as some pages need the cache cleared to work better). This has been seen on the default search and the 'Personal Searches'.
Is there a way to make these custom columns more stable?
