Comparing 2 different Scenarios in NR using Autotextsummary(Compare)

I'm working on a report which compared 2 columns with different scenarios for the same month but different versions. However, the explanation is coming back referencing a scenario which is not being use in the compare parameters. Is it possible to use the AutoTextSummary(Compare) on columns that is different or do all the columns needs to be the same for the compare to work?
