How to restrict a Recruiter or Hiring Manager from moving candidates past a specific CSP phase?

Hello everyone,

We are currently configuring our Candidate Selection Process (CSP) and trying to restrict users from moving candidates beyond a specific phase. Our use case is that we need candidates to remain in a “Pre-Hire Check Review” phase until all required validations are completed. However, we are finding that both Recruiters and Hiring Managers are still able to manually move candidates into other phases or states, even with the phase marked as “Mandatory.

What we’re trying to achieve:
We need a way to prevent specific user types (Hiring Managers, possibly Recruiters) from moving a candidate past this phase. After this phase, we have automation to move the candidate to the offer phase.
