Boot volume became corrupted after previously working — any way to recover?

in OCI - General 1 comment

My Always Free VM.Standard.A1.Flex instance in ap-tokyo-1 used to boot normally but the boot volume is now corrupted. There is no data to keep on the boot volume; the main priority is to get the instance running again.

Instance OCID: ocid1.instance.oc1.ap-tokyo-1.anxhiljrckay3bqcldynwbwq2yvzlzy2zxuqczhae6obakovn6iogfpzjhza

Boot Volume OCID: ocid1.bootvolume.oc1.ap-tokyo-1.abxhiljr2smp4ntqdjtavrxhzbl55gtvhrmtlngfnjsb6k4utmispldkv6ua

Is there any way to recover or recreate the boot volume without terminating the instance?

Thanks!
