We have Basic salary, We have Unpaid Leave & Absence element is attached with the absence type but leave deduction will not be resulted in the absence element, Instead we have voluntary deduction element " Unpaid Deduct for Basic Salary" Which will result deduction value for Basic salary for unpaid days.

Unpaid Deduct for Basic Salary is chosen as Indirect results in Basic Salary element for leave deduction.

When employee has leave for the Payroll Period Month, Deduction will be resulted in the " Unpaid Deduct for Basic Salary" element.
