National identifiers Validation Behavior in Core HR – Inconsistent Triggers

Summary:

Hello,

while testing the National Identifier (Codice Fiscale) validation for Italy in Oracle HCM Cloud – Core HR (Redwood Hire / Add Person flow), we identified an inconsistent and potentially defective validation behavior.

Observed behavior:

• When an incorrect Gender is entered, the system correctly triggers a validation error pop-up.
• When an incorrect Date of Birth is entered, the system correctly triggers a validation error pop-up.
• When an incorrect Region of Birth is entered, and consequently an incorrect Town of Birth is selected, no validation error is triggered.
• When an incorrect Country of Birth is entered, no validation error is triggered.
