How can we prevent users from manually entering miles?

We have many users that are manually entering their mileage, and the amounts do not come close to actual miles when using the maps. How do we prevent this?

Users are submitting for mileage that is inaccurate. I have Oracle maps enabled but users are still able to manually enter mileage.
