Enabling Redwood in Work Area Supply Planning and Supply Chain Planning

Summary:

We are using Supply Plan and planning to enable Redwood pages. We can see that common work area "Supply Chain Planning" for all type of plans to access Redwood. But prior to 25B, Oracle enabled Redwood for few individual pages using profiles in work area "Supply planning".

All the individual pages that were enabled for Redwood in Work Area "Supply planning" like Planners, Calendars, Demand priority are now enabled in "Supply Chain Planning" by default.

The question is

  1. Enabling redwood for individual pages in work area "Supply Planning" is required or only "Supply Chain Planning" is good enough?

2. If we not enable redwood in "Supply Planning" and enable only for work area "Supply Chain Planning" will have any impact down the line? What is Oracle suggestion on this.
