Using USOPTE Tax engine without Enabling Address validation feature

Hi All,

We are currently in the process of transitioning from Vertex to USOPTE and have begun comparing various payroll reports by switching the tax engine in our lower environments.

At this stage, the enhanced address validation feature has not been enabled in Features by Country or Territory. I would like to understand which geography data USOPTE utilizes if the address validation feature is not enabled. Does it reference Vertex data in this scenario? If so, is it necessary to continue running the Load Geography process on a monthly basis in lower environments during comparison stage?
