How to change the "From date" of a resource

My Enterprise>Setup and maintenance>Manage Resource

Is there a way to change the "From date" of a resource?It cannot be changed from the screen, so if you set a "To date" for the current resource and then add a new identical resource using the Create button, an error will occur.
