Subject: HDL – Masking External Candidate ID for Contingent Internal Candidates

Summary:

Hi Team,

We are able to successfully mask/update the External Candidate ID using HDL for external candidates

However, the same HDL load does not work for candidates whose Candidate Type is Contingent, even when:

  • The Internal flag = Yes
  • The person already exists in Oracle Fusion HCM
  • The candidate applies as an internal candidate

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether masking or updating External Candidate ID (or similar candidate identifiers) is supported via HDL for Contingent candidates?
  2. If not supported, is this a product limitation by design?
  3. Is there any alternative HDL object or supported approach to achieve masking for Contingent Internal Candidates?
