We are just using jobs, not positions, but the business wants to have workflow approvals set up to stop at director level for anything without a salary change. While anything with a salary change would go up to exec level for final approval. Because of this there could be a department change that needs 1 level of approval because it is just below the director, or it could need 3 levels of approval to get to the director.
