Remove the job family field from Redwood flows

Summary:

In Responsive, we do not have the Job Family in a few (maybe all) of our flows. As a specific example, we don't currently have it for Add a Contingent Worker. When trying to match the sections and fields in Redwood to what we have today, I'm unable to remove the Job Family. I would like to know first, if there's a way to remove, but if not, can someone help me understand why it has to be there? I'll need to be able to justify it to the business and right now all I have is 'VBS won't let me.' With VBS configured as seen below, I still have to fill out the field, and then it 'hides' once I fill it out. Thanks in advance for any insight!
