Invoice Locked - Too many matching records on Payables Invoices

We are trying to edit a Payables invoice and we face this error:

"Too many matching records found. Specify additional criteria to limit the number of records."

I'm attaching a screenshot for this issue.
We tried, as suggested by Oracle, to insert a new invoice line through Rest Api but the issue is still not resolved.
This invoice has 1.981 lines.
