NI Category Process for Payroll Interface License
Hi All,
We are using the Payroll Interface License for the UK, with payroll processing handled in ADP. However, we do perform a Final Close of payroll relationships in HCM after a certain period following employee termination. In some cases, when attempting to Final Close the payroll relationship, we encounter an error stating: "The NI category {} for this employee who's {} years of age isn't valid. You need to enter a valid NI category." Since payroll is not processed in HCM, could someone clarify why this error occurs?
It appears that the NI category needs to be updated in the Stat Calc Card, and there is an Oracle seeded process called "NI Category Update Archive" for this purpose. I would like to know if we can run this process while operating under the Payroll Interface License, and whether there could be any potential impacts from doing so.
