How to Restrict RMA Creation Only for Closed Order Lines in Oracle Fusion Order Management

Summary:

Hello Team,

We have a business requirement in Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management to restrict the creation of Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) only for sales order lines with status = Closed.

Current Behavior

  • The system currently allows users to create RMAs for order lines that are in statuses such as Shipped, Invoiced, or Awaiting Billing, in addition to Closed.
  • We are unable to find any standard setup, profile option, or configuration to restrict RMA creation based on order line status.

Business Requirement

  • RMAs should be allowed only after the full order lifecycle is completed, i.e., when the order line status is
