How to enable COA to pull account segments into OTBI when they were not originally setup to do so?

Hello, I am the costing lead on an implementation project and was creating an OTBI dashboard to reconcile the GL with the subledger in our client’s DEV environment. However, I was unable to pull our account segments into OTBI because either there was no Segment Label assigned, or there was no BI Object assigned in the original setups.

It seems that the system implementer who originally configured FIN for the client performed manual GL/COA setups and these were missed. In order to pull the account segments into OTBI, I had to first perform a few different manual setup processes, such as ensuring segments were BI enabled and creating/managing segment labels so they would have a BI Object Name.
