Question About Salesforce Opportunity Import Behavior When Unique Identifier Is Empty
Hello,
I have a question while configuring an import from Salesforce Opportunity to an Eloqua Custom Data Object (CDO).
When setting up the import in the Salesforce Integration App, how does the integration behave if the Salesforce-side unique identifier field is empty?
- Is the record excluded entirely and not imported from Salesforce at all?
- Or is the record imported with a null/empty value, causing the CDO record to be created only (rather than updated)?
I would appreciate clarification on how this scenario is handled.
