Performing action after smart action is succeeded

Summary:

We have a requirement where we need to perform action once the smart Action is succeeded. How can we get the condition for completion of smart action. For e.g. I add a smart action to send an email using UI-Based Action, once the email is sent using this smart action I want to create a task of type email with status as complete. We cannot call any routine/ object function OR we cannot set any field value after the smart action is succeeded. So, how can we implement this??
