Need help with Element Entry HDL for restarting a recurring element

Need help restarting a benefit deduction using HDL after it was previously end-dated due to a life event

Use cases include:

  • Dependent Gains Coverage Elsewhere → coverage dropped (benefit deduction end-dated)
  • Later Dependent Loses Coverage Elsewhere → coverage added back
  • Other life events such as marriage, divorce, where a benefit is end-dated due to one life event and later needs to be started again due to another life event

I was able to successfully end-date the recurring benefit deduction element entry using ReplaceLastEffectiveEndDate = 'Y'.

However, when I attempt to restart the benefit with a new EffectiveStartDate, I receive the following error:
