Mid Pay Period Position Change not getting reflected in a pro-rated manner
Current State: When there is a mid pay period change in position or position costing, the Costing info coming across is the costing that is effective as of the Pay period end date for the pay period and is not in sync with the effective dating of the position
Current Workaround: Oracle Consulting proposed three work around options as below.
- Split the costing on a position-percentage basis between the two funding sources, and end-date the old funding source at the end of the payroll period - We are apprehensive about this if this might have an impact when there is Retropay involved.
