Question:

How to retrieve Master Activity ID for multi-segment activities in Non-Scheduled pool in Oracle Field Service?


Hello Team,

We are working with multi-segment (segmentable) activities in Oracle Field Service and have observed the following behavior:

  • When a segment is Scheduled, the Master Activity ID field is populated correctly.
  • When the same segment is moved from Scheduled → Non-Scheduled, the Master Activity ID value becomes 0/no data.
  • When the segment is moved back from Non-Scheduled → Scheduled, the Master Activity ID is populated again.

Based on this behavior, it appears that when a segment is in the Non-Scheduled pool, it is temporarily detached from the master activity.
