Business Process: to procure/mfg Mainenance/Installed based Asset in BU1 & then transfer it to BU2

Our Business Process requirement is to procure/manufacture the Mainenance/Installed based Asset in BU1 (i.e. in Country 1) and then transfer it to BU2 (i.e. in country 2) for the use

1-What is the business process to serve this, internal material transfer or some series of PO-SO to attain the goal

2-To transfer the asset item for creating TO/PO/SO we need to enable stockable attribute on item in PIM but if we do that maintenance asset shows Location type as Inventory and it is greyed out for editing. For this issue, another Oracle Community post suggests to do Miscenalleous out but would not that create financial impact?
