How to manage B2B make with multiple inventory orgs under same BU ?

Summary:

Say there are 2 inventory organizations (which also act a manufacturing plants) under a BU.

Now, when creating sales order the item will either be sourced from IO-1 or IO-2 (Warehouse mentioned on the SO accordingly). We have say 2 work definitions for the same item, 1 for each org. So now how to ensure that the WO is created for the right org….?

Is this configurable that based the Warehouse on the SO, the WO should be created against the work definiton of that org ???

How to manage Sourcing rules to achieve this..? Anything required on Planning part?
