Freight Not Rolling Up to Parent Kit Line in AR for Kit Items

Summary:

We are facing an issue where freight charges for Kit Items are not appearing in AR invoices. Freight is calculated at the child shipment line level since only child items are shippable. However, during AR invoice creation, only the parent Kit line is imported, and freight from the child lines does not roll up to the parent Kit line.

As the parent Kit item is non-shippable and does not generate shipment data, the current REST-based integration is unable to populate freight at the parent level in AR.

Please confirm if there is any standard Oracle setup, supported workaround, or recommended approach to handle freight charges for Kit Items.
