GOP not considering automatic substitution

Hi All, Can you please help why substitute item functionality is not working, we are trying to demo the substitute item functionality to the customer.

Setups:

Item Relationship is at master level and item validation org for OM is master org. Both the items have same UOM.

Sales Order with the item not showing the substitute in the availability and on booking also the scheduling activity is not switching the original item with substitute item. The ordered item has delay of 7 days and substitute item has stock available.

Manual Substitution is working but not through GOP.
