Enhancing Redwood: Reinstate Search by Grade Sequence
Summary:
Restoring ability to search for a grade sequence number capability will eliminate unnecessary manual processes, standardize workflows across environments, and help ensure accurate compensation outcomes.
Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):
Currently, the Redwood UI Progression Rules page limits users’ ability to search for a grade sequence number. It also restricts the use of optional search parameters such as Between, Greater Than, Less Than, or Equal To. In comparison, the RUI enables users to directly enter a grade sequence number into the user interface, allowing immediate retrieval of the corresponding grade.
This limitation increases processing times, heightens the risk of grade-placement errors, and creates inconsistencies across environments. Maintaining accurate grade sequencing is critical, as it directly impacts pay calculations within the Relief in Higher Classification (RIHC) pay solution. Therefore, enabling direct entry of sequence numbers is essential for ensuring pay accuracy, operational efficiency, and system reliability.
