Any workaround to populate item revision into the Purchase Requisitions released from Planning?

I found an idea already posted for this:

It shows the status as Delivered. However, from what I understand, this is not delivered as a standard functionality. Instead, they've provided a work around using existing functionality in supply orchestration.

What I understand is:

We have to define an EFF at item level to populate item revision, map it to a Planning attribute, and then create some service mapping in Orchestration to populate this EFF value to Item Revision field of the PR.

Is this the correct understanding?
