How to select supplier after adding item to cart from catalog page (landing page)

Item is in Warehouse (Purchasable enabled) and deliver-to location is warehouse location with destination type as Inventory. Item is not on blanket agreement. However, we can still search and be able to add items to cart from catalog page but then there is no option to select supplier in the cart. How to achieve this? Enter requisition line page is fine we can add supplier but we want the ability to add supplier when the item is added to cart from catalog page.
