How to audit fast formulas, value sets, etc. any time we wish to change elements / balance defs?

Is it possibly to identify all fast formulas and value sets that reference a particular element or balance definition? Our concern is that when we look to make a change or to create something new, we need to understand all possible impacts, and this would be to review all such areas.
