GL balances precision vs currency precision vs Essbase precision

in General Ledger & Intercompany

Hello,
We are investigating small rounding differences in Oracle Fusion General Ledger and would like to confirm the exact precision logic in the product architecture.
We would like Oracle to confirm the following behavior explicitly:
1.Are GL balances stored in the database with higher precision than the currency precision (for example more than 2 decimals for EUR), even though the UI displays only currency precision? If yes, is this precision configurable in any setup, or is it fixed system architecture?
2. Does the currency setup (precision / minimum accountable unit) control only presentation and rounding, not the internal stored balance precision?
3. Can Essbase cube calculations (used by Inquiry Detail Balances and Financial Reporting Center) lose precision because Essbase stores numbers with ~15 significant digits?
