How to identify what HR Action was used to create an Other Compensation (Element Entry / ICP) in the database tables

We are needing to produce reports that show what HR Action, such as Assignment Change, was used to with Other Compensation to create an element entry / ICP. In addition, if Administer or Manage Compensation pages were used to create the element entry, we need to be able to identify which was used.

We are looking to for the logic / tables or views that would be used to tie the HR Action used to the element entry created during that HR Action.
