Line Transaction Flexfield value getting cleared on saving transaction

I have created a Line Transaction Flexfield with a context called "Data Migration" and a Segment called "Transaction Number". When I created a Transaction, after entering Line details, I added Flexfield details. But after saving and coming out of the Additional Details Page, Segment value is disappering. Anyone faced similiar issue?
