How to Hide the Default ‘Save Comment’ Button or Add Validation in 26A Redwood Pages
Summary:
In 26A, the Comment and Attachment section in Redwood pages includes an additional button that is enabled by default. Users must click Save Comment to store their comments; otherwise, the comments are not saved in the transaction.
We want to hide this button, but VBCS does not appear to provide a way to do so. We also don’t see any option to display an error or warning message on the page.
We need guidance on how to hide this button, and if hiding it is not possible, how we can display an error or warning message to ensure users don’t forget to click the Save Comment button.
