Summary:

We are currently working with a client in the energy distribution sector where, during the quoting process, we are required to calculate rebate amounts related to previous customers and apply the resulting charges to the current quote.

The rebate calculation involves the following complexities:

• Retrieval of historical job and financial data from external systems
• Complex calculation logic across multiple prior transactions
• VAT computation as part of rebate processing
