26A Alert Notification not triggering for both email or worklist for Legislative Data Updates

Summary:

Followed the steps as mentioned in the alert composer, in the feature document.

Added recipient both worklist and email. But when the process is run, no alerts are triggered. Nor I could use role.
Can anyone share the steps? Also tried just the worklist alone and expecting to view the alert in worklist, it didnt show up in worklist too.

Not able to get alerts through role as well, with Recipient as 'Worklist'. Tried expression "${AlertUtils.toString(AlertUtils.roleMemberList("****_PAYROLL_VIEW_ALL_PROCESSES").UserName)}"
